On November 19, 2019, the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Mexico issued an announcement on the official gazette, launching the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation of concrete steel nails (Spanish: clavos de acero para concreto) originating in China. The TIGIE tax code of the products involved is 7317.00.99. The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the damage investigation period is from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2019. During the investigation, the current anti-dumping duties remained in effect.
Stakeholders shall submit evidence within 28 working days from the day after the announcement is published (before 2 pm on the deadline).
On November 29, 2004, Mexico made a final anti-dumping ruling on China's concrete steel nails, and began to formally levy an anti-dumping duty of 0.50 USD / kg. On May 16, 2011, Mexico for the first time extended the anti-dumping duties on Chinese products and changed the tax rate to 0.54 US dollars / kg. On November 10, 2015, Mexico extended the anti-dumping measures for the products in question for the second time.
