According to statistics from the General Statistics Bureau of Vietnam, the national industrial production index for the first two months of 2019 increased by 9.2% year-on-year, with hardware manufacturing increasing by 35.8% and steel products increasing by 75.9%. In February 2019, the industrial production index of Vietnam fell by 16.8% from the previous month and increased by 10.3% year-on-year.
